Yes the holiday season has hit! And nothing is better than having everyone home to celebrate. Last Wednesday I got to meet up with the Aldrich family for a fun and easy-going family session, while everyone was in town. What a great session. This sweet family!! Oh my gosh, what an amazing afternoon. Madison and Eric are such a great couple, I met them in 2019 and have had the joy of photographing their engagement & wedding… and now their first family session. Isn’t Hayzel the most adorable. I loved watching them with her, you could just feel the excitement and love. This session made my soul shine a little extra Sunday morning. I am always excited to see these guys. I have been photographing their family since Christian was a newborn, but that’s not where it all started. Heather and I became friends years before, she was one of my first Virginia friends when I moved here and I cherish her creativity and caring spirit. I don’t get to see these guys as often as I’d like, but when I do it’s always so great! Sunday I had the chance to catch up with the Keller family. It’s an annual thing, FALL photo fun. I’m taken back each year when I see these awesome kids and talk with them about what they have been up to. Natalie is a pure sweetheart, and Caleb has the heart of an outdoor explorer. And to think it all started way back with S+K’s engagement photos and wedding. Thank you guys for another fun session and for sharing just a tiny bit of your awesome life with me.

Karla and Brian tied the knot!!! Saturday was the most beautiful October day in the Shenandoah to get married. They said their vows with a gorgeous mountain backdrop and their dearest surrounding them with love. Then celebrated the night away with custom pizzas under the color changing foliage.
