A Fall NOVA wedding at Woodend Sanctuary is a vibe that we are all feeling. Eliah & Juan celebrated their love story in October, and what a vibe it was!!
The day was just beautiful, warm and colorful. Which perfectly matched the wedding celebration. E+J tied a bit of traditional fall elements, with brightly colored flowers, and a lot of family traditions. Their wedding was an amazing combination of traditions and cultures. After a sweet and intimate signing of the ketubah, they married under a chuppah with a special wedding lasso ceremony. The entire ceremony was a perfect blending of their backgrounds and cultures with a unique look into the love and tradition of their families. There was something almost magical the way they looked and spoke to each other as they said their vows.
After a fun photo session around the property with their fun group, we headed in to a wonderful reception dinner. The air was filled with laughter and love. The toasts were touching, creative and fun. And afterwards the dancing began. What a fun and rowdy group. The dance floor was full all night! From the hora, to salsa, to some traditional “I wanna dance with somebody” grooves. These guys had such a fun night.
Another tradition they included was their las ofrendas, or “offerings. Which are set up in homes to welcome home the souls of the dead. They had one setup in the reception area, it had photos in remembrance of family members.
If you are having a wedding locally, be sure to take notes from Eliah & Juan, they had a perfect Fall NOVA wedding.
