This Leesburg VA NYE wedding was stunning and amazing. Sit back and take in this gorgeous wedding and everything that went into pulling off a micro NYE wedding with so many covid restrictions.
It’s hard to believe that Maggie & Nick tied the knot a year ago on New Years eve. It was such an elegant affair. Originally they had planned a huge NYE blow out bash, with a champagne toast and so much confetti, but of course COVID had other plans for their celebration. As we approached the day M+N held on to their date, they had to minimize and reduce the size and scope of the party, but they knew that by midnight they would be starting the new year as Mr. & Mrs.
The celebration ended up being just their immediate families which created this beautifully intimate elegant feel. Everyone was dressed in their New Years best. In fact I had a flash or two throughout their event of at end scene of one of my all time favorite holiday movies, The Holiday. You know where they are all dressed up for New Years eve as they celebrate at an intimate party at home.
How absolutely stunning is this church. All the lit trees added so much splendor to the ceremony. Also, I cannot get enough of the emerald green bridesmaid dresses, a perfect color for a winter wedding.
Aside from all the gorgeous details and beautiful faces, let’s talk a bit about the pure emotions and joy on everyones faces. I love an intimate affair, it brings everyone involved closer together and gives them the ability to share such sweet moments. Maggie & Nick will forever cherish the joy and love they felt on their wedding day.
As we finished out the night I asked these two love birds if they would have changed anything about their day. The response they gave me was simple and sweet. They were just so thrilled to be married and to be able to start the next chapter of their lives together. It didn’t matter if they had 10 guests or 250 as originally planned, it was a perfect day. Cheers to Maggie & Nick and their Leesburg VA NYE wedding.
