A JMU engagement session are amazing, especially when the couple met and fell in love there. However, E&R had probably the most epic JMU engagement session there ever was.
We will count this session as a huge win, because it was not as originally planned. The session was going to take place in DC, however after a reschedule and then the closures due to COVID-19 we made the decision to head to JMU for the session. How lucky were we that all the students were gone and campus was empty. It was an strange feeling to see literally no one else around, but that’s what made it perfect.
The spring blossoms were blooming on the trees and the weather was just perfect. Then these two lovebirds stepped out of the car in their gorgeous (and patriotic) attire. I knew right then, I was in for a treat.
Also, if you plan your engagement session at the location you met your soon to be spouse, the photos turn out even more magical. I just loved walking around with these two talking about the college days, graduation and their on campus dating memories. It totally gave me all the feels!
I cannot wait to capture their wedding at Rosemont Manor come October. Its going to be the party of the year, filled with so much laughter and love!

A quick outfit change and then we were back at the fun!

Until next time <3 Stephanie
