Plan your farm engagement session at the Family Farm. Cassie & Matt welcomed me with open arms on to her families farm in Moorefield, West Virginia. The property has been in the family for many years. As we toured the property and captured their engagement photos, I was told great family stories. Cassie shared memories about the farm and the family events that have happened throughout the years. It was beyond meaningful for Cassie & Matt to be able to do their engagement session here.
They were able to add memories to the family property. The wagon wheel gate below is the last place that her grandparents did photos together. It was a must visit for this sweet and adventurous session. We also created brand new memories during the farm engagement session. Their sweet dog thought it would be a great idea to swim across the duck pond. When he was splashing around in the background the the photos was adorable. He then got to the middle of the pond and panicked a bit and Matt started to take off his shoes to go in after hime. It was lucky for us Matt didn’t have to jump in, the pup made it to the other side and the session was continued. It would have been an interesting second half of the session with our groom to be soaking wet from the duck pond swim.
I am so happy they choose to have their session here at the family property. Not only were the views gorgeous and the barns rustic and cool, but we made awesome memories. That’s what my job is all about. It’s not just photographing a farm engagement session, it’s creating joy and memories to last a lifetime.
Tomorrow these two say I DO and I cannot wait to document their awesome wedding day at Misty Mountain Event Barn and the next chapter of their love story.
