Why do we capture a senior portrait session? It’s to celebrate and to remember. The Senior year of high school is a huge milestone that should be remembered. It represents the end of one thing and the beginning of something brand new, and all the great things to come as tis continue to grow. Senior portraits keep the moments preserved for a lifetime.
Savannah (her mom) & I had so much fun capturing her senior portrait session. She decided she wanted to have both summertime and fall photos, so we picked the gorgeous Whitehall estate in Bluemont. We knew that this spot would be perfect for both seasons and that there was so many great spots to shoot. The summer time session was filled with lush greens, gorgeous sun and warmth. The fall session was also on a beautiful day, a bit chillier, but we found that lovely golden sun to reflect off the tall golden grasses and explored behind the barns (which was way fun!). Regardless of the weather and the scenery, as we explored and I photographed Savannah we chatted about her accomplishments and her future goals. Which I beloved is the most important part of a senior portrait session, the connects and conversations.
Just look through these photos you can see how much fun we had. Savannah has such a bright soul, she is a delight, an adventurer and is for sure going places. Here’s to a wonderful future! Way to go Savannah and all the kids at James Wood High School, Class of 2019.
