Take a tour of a Loudoun County wedding venue. The county is filled with some many great properties to host your weddings & special events. As a wedding photographer one of the best ways to spent a day is checking out the local venues. That lead me to spend a rainy fall morning with Liz at Ballenger Farm.
A friend of mine had stayed at Ballenger farm, a quaint farm b&b in Hamilton, VA. After her stay she got ahold of me and urged me to reach out to Liz. She said I just had to see this great space and meet the sweetest b&b owner. So that sold it to me, I contacted Liz right away! And my visit was just as wonderful as I expected it to be.
As I drove into the farm I saw the gorgeous stone house and rustic green barn. It was a rainy day, which I think made the property even more mystical. I felt like I had been transported to a cobblestone farm in the countryside of England. And the best part of this was that there was no passport of jet lag involved. How lucky are we that it’s part of the Loudoun County wedding venue area? The patio was filled with potted plants and hanging bistro lights.
The house is the perfect combination of farmhouse chic and vintage and very cozy. I can just picture a bridal party spending the night before the wedding in this space, and getting all dolled up the day of the wedding. Or the perfect house and property to celebrate a family reunion.
The farm also has several on property chicken friends, and a couple silly goats, perfect for photo ops.
All in all I can see this place as the perfect little piece of farm heaven tucked away. So many gorgeous little places ‘s around the property to have a picnic, play hide and seek, or capture once in a lifetime photos. It would be a wonderful place to put up a large satin tent and dance the night away. What Loudoun County wedding venue will I tour next? any suggestions??

And when you meet like minded and ambitious people, wonderful things can happen.
